Classes and levels
Lindy Hop
The main part of the camp is of course the Lindy Hop course on Saturday and Sunday. With world class instructors and lessons held only on wooden dance flours you can be sure to have a great weekend.
We will have four groups. Unfortunately we do not have a group for beginners or those who has only taken a beginners course. For the lowest group you should have attendee a beginner’s course and at least one more level. The highest group is for advanced dancers.
Dividing into different groups
When you register we will ask you to choose from one out of seven levels according to the list below. You can also choose if we should move you to the higher or the lower group if the level is split between to groups or if this does not matter.
Based on the choices made by all participants we will divide the seven levels into four even groups.
All groups will have the same amount of time with all teachers. All groups will start end and have lunch at almost the same times so there will be plenty of time to meet participant from other groups. If you and your friends want to be in the same group anyway please write this in your application.
Levels
When we talk about intermediate, intermediate-advanced and advanced these levels are according to Herräng Dance Camp standard.
- An intermediate level feels like a challenge
- Intermediate is the right level for me.
- I feel ready to try intermediate-advanced
- Intermediate-advanced is the right level for me
- An advanced group would be an exiting challenge
- Advanced is the right level for me
- I would have taken a higher level if it was offered but want to attend anyway
