Social Dancing
There are quite a lot of opportunities to go out swing dancing if you are staying in the vicinity of Uppsala or Stockholm (see the list below).

Places to dance in Uppsala
- At Grand in Uppsala, dance evenings are organized by Swingkatten at least twice every Spring and Autumn. We often have a lindy introduction class at the beginning of the evening so you can bring friends who want to try the dance.
- If you are a student at Uppsala University, Norrland's Nation has big band nights one Friday a month.
- Katalin is a jazz club that sometimes clears a dance floor and hosts bands that swing.
- Fredmans, is mostly known for its salsa and disco music several nights a week, but sometimes they have live bands that appeal to us lindy hoppers.
...and in Stockholm
- In Stockholm the classic ballroom, Nalen, frequently has big band and other swing band dance nights.
- Every Wednesday Jesses Jazz Club has good live bands, and a devoted crowd of lindy dancers.
- Swedish Swing Society (SSS) organizes dance evenings at the dance club (usually on Saturdays).
